The Embassy of Japan in Ireland is pleased to inform you of a series of events honouring Patrick Lafcadio Hearn (1850-1904) taking place in Ireland from October. Also known by his Japanese name Koizumi Yakumo, Lafcadio Hearn is regarded as the best known Irish person in Japan, and is famous for his collections of Japanese legends and ghost stories.
