FREE Children’s Event

Culinary guerrillas The Domestic Godless (Stephen Brandes, Mick O’Shea and Irene Murphy) will be cooking up a storm during their two week residency at Galway Arts Centre creating concoctions to tantalise (or perhaps threaten?) the taste buds, with presentations such as their signature prawn-head smoothies, gannet confit and deadly 14-allergen mousse cake.

Exposing their irreverent attitude to contemporary food culture as visual artists, their occupation of the building will include slide shows, menus, sculptures and a custom–built kitchen.

Join us on a very special guided children’s tour of the exhibition examining The Domestic Godless strange and wonderfully weird approaches. Be prepared for lots of bizarre activity!
