~ FURTHER INFORMATION info@synthesizeher.net
Synthesize_Her [S_H] is a feminist sound technology organisation that promotes *education* for FLINTA (female, lesbian, intersex, trans, agender) people in backend music production.
They do this through workshops in sound engineering, electronics, instrument fabrication, deep listening and the historical and sociological context of women using technology creatively.
The Means of Production aims to democratise *tools* needed to produce electronic music by establishing Ireland’s first FLINTA led Synth Library.
This library will include noise making/replicating hardware (synthesizers, samplers), amplification devices, cables, audio interfaces.
Synthesize_Her’s dream is to form a functional library network across Ireland that can be used for swapping and loaning gear.
