A carnival crashes upon the shores of the Galway Arts Centre. Delightfully shipwrecked, we dream in music and art and much much more…

** Fold/Unfold present the brand new alternative for your Friday night.

An embracive evening of art and community, ‘Shipwrecked Dreams’ invites you to explore, reflect and enjoy a rich mix of art forms across two floors. Share a new culinary experience with our authentic Sri Lankan buffet.Be floated away by the soft vocal stylings of Miriam Donohue, meditate upon a glade at dawn in Johnnie Lawson Artist installation.

An excellent opportunity to catch the sultry vocals and melodious guitar licks of local trailblazers, self proclaimed ‘surf mariachi band’, Canaries in an intimate and relaxed concert setting, expect theatrical pop-ups throughout the night and be ready for gyp-hop rhythms and rabble rousing tales of Aindrias de Staic. Put your own thoughts into a bottle out to sea while the buildling spins a web of poetry and dance around you for one very special night…
