Galway Arts Centre seeking professional contemporary visual artists for Artists – in – Schools Residency
Galway Arts Centre, supported by Galway County Council is launching an Artist-in-Schools Residency programme for post-primary schools in the County for 2011 / 2012. The programme is to offer young people a different approach to making art with a professional artist. The focus is on artistic development and critical self-reflection.
Galway Arts Centre is looking for 2 contemporary visual artists to work with 2 selected schools. Please apply with your CV and a cover letter highlighting potential starting points for working with young people.
Successful applicants must comply fully with Galway Arts Centre’s Child Protection Policy.
