Red Bird is an arts organization of the Galway Arts Centre, for youths by youths to encourage and support creativity for young people in the surrounding community.

As a dynamic team of young people from different countries and backgrounds such as fashion, creative writing, journalism, acting, acrobatics, film and visual art we wish to create a platform where arts can be easily accessed by any youths who wish to express themselves through the many facets of the arts.

We aim to dispel the notion of the arts as elitist and encourage youths to discover arts as a rich and nourishing part of our everyday. ‘Red Bird’ overall aim is to encourage the involvement of young people through programmed events and experimentation and play with various art forms.
