Monologue Class with New York Director, John Farrell
Every aspiring actor needs a monologue or two: memorised, polished and richly performed that can be guaranteed to display your abilities to your best advantage. These are a mainstay for most audition opportunities
This class is intended for any and all performers who aspire to professional standards and it is to those standards we will adhere. It is recommended that you come to the first meeting having already picked a short monologue (2-3 minutes TOPS) from either the classical (Shakespeare is always a good place to start) or Contemporary repertoire. We will meet as a group every other week over the course of two months during which time each candidate will also receive an hour of one-on-one coaching.
